History
Century 21 in Brazil, Indiana has had several names illustrating the changes in ownership over the years. The original owners were Robert and Jana Oehler. They formed Century 21 Town and Country Real Estate in the 1970s.
Our company was known as Century 21 Oehler-Campbell from 1981 to 1999. Darla Campbell, present principal Broker of Century 21 Hometown Realty, Inc., was partnered with the Oehlers.
With the passing of the Oehlers, Lori Dalton and Darla Campbell established a corporation, Century 21 Hometown Realty, Inc. We feel the Century 21 franchise is beneficial, not only for education and services, but also to our customers and clients. Century 21, collectively, stands for integrity and professionalism. Each company, while independent, has goals and requirements to wear the name Century 21. We are kept informed and well trained in a constantly changing profession.
We are also members of NAR, the National Association of Realtors, which again is a benefit, not just to the Realtor, but to the public at large. We must conform to a strict Code of Ethics and license laws with our peers and you, the public.
We have been members of the Terre Haute MLS for many years and recently joined the Metropolitan Indianapolis multiple listing service. By becoming members of these services we are able to stay on top of changes in the business through education which better helps us serve you, the public. When we list your property for sale, you automatically have over 7000 real estate professionals reading about your property and helping us to sell your home. As buyers, the market is open to you through us. We can help you find your dream home from the Illinois border to the east side of Indianapolis and everywhere in between.
We are on the cutting edge of technology in this office. We had our own company website even before Century 21 National...before anyone even knew what a website was. Our domain is www.c21.net. We are also in the process of implementing a new program called LeadRouter. This allows you to contact an agent for more extended hours and get a call back. The general public wants desired information within 15 minutes of asking for it. This new LeadRouter program makes that even more possible.
